Death Dreams Deluxe Majesty’s Spectators14 The Delivery15 Purgatory16 The Myth the Snow17 Ancillary Parts18 Gone Skiving Back in an Hour19 Hotel de la Mort20 Indeed21 Post Mortem Comm22 Tomb of Souls23 Objective Malice24 The Offering25 Messiah of Dec There were some good ideas in this collection but the entire book could do with a lot of tidying and polishing There were a lot of spelling mistakes and odd grammatical errors which proved to be uite off putting; for some reason 'shown' was consistently used instead of 'shone' I'm going to assume a weird spellcheck on that oneI enjoyed the vast majority of the collection The last storyplay was one of my favourites along with 'The Thing in the Cage' a story I had already read last year and thoroughly enjoyed As with most collections though unfortunately there are some which are not as good and Death Dreams was not the exception I found most of the characters in nearly every story to be very one dimensional and totally lacking any kind of substance However Robertson shows a lot a of his promise with his prose and with a bit of work and tweaking this collection could be so much better If I could I would knock off half a star for the amount of spelling and grammatical errors throughout but alas I cannot
